Find animals, start a conversation or purchase, then track the sale in Purchases.
ExoMarket is not a shopping cart checkout. Here is the typical buyer flow.
1. Browse & evaluate
Use country, category, and species pages to find animals. Save listings to compare later.
2. Message or Buy It Now
Chat to negotiate, or use Buy It Now when a seller enables instant orders. Sign in is required for both.
3. Pay the seller directly
Payment happens off-platform between you and the seller. Prefer protected methods (e.g. PayPal Goods and Services) — sellers must honour your request. ExoMarket tracks status in Purchases.
4. Track in Purchases
After acceptance, follow payment and shipping in Purchases, then leave a review when the animal arrives.

The steps above are the usual path. Below is more detail on the choices you will see on a listing and in Purchases.
Browsing ads is public. To message a seller, send an offer, or use Buy It Now, sign in first. Your purchases and pending offers all live under Purchases.
A pending offer does not remove animals from the public listing. Stock is reserved when the other party accepts (or when you complete Buy It Now). You can revise terms while the offer is open; if the seller counters, they become the one who must accept or decline next.
In Purchases you will see labels like “Needs your response” or “Waiting for seller to respond” so you know whose turn it is.
When you accept (or the seller accepts your offer), you choose pickup vs shipping if that was not set yet. For shipping you provide your delivery address and, when the listing has shipping options, pick one of the seller's templates.
Payment is recorded and coordinated off-platform — ExoMarket tracks status in Purchases (payment, shipped, received). Leave a review when the animal arrives.
ExoMarket does not process animal payments or hold funds. You and the seller arrange payment directly (bank transfer, PayPal, etc.).
Many providers offer buyer protections — for example PayPal Goods and Services (disputes and refunds), or card payments with chargeback rights. These can help if an animal is not delivered or not as described.
