Reporting listings, users & bugs

Private reports reviewed by ExoMarket staff on the platform.

Use reporting when something on ExoMarket feels unsafe, misleading, or broken. Reports are not public — other members cannot see what you submit. This is separate from Feature Requests, where the community votes on product ideas.

Report a listing

Open the listing page and choose Report listing below the message and buy actions (you must be signed in). Pick a reason and describe what is wrong — for example incorrect species, prohibited content, or a suspected scam.

We link your report to the listing and seller so staff can investigate. Moderation is handled on ExoMarket; removal or account action is not instant.

Report a user

You can report a member from their public profile ( profile page) or from the ⋯ menu in an active message thread. You cannot report yourself.

Include what happened and where on ExoMarket (for example messages or a listing). Reports about harassment, scams, or fake profiles are reviewed privately by our team.

We cannot take off-platform contact (email, phone, social media, payment apps, etc.) into account in our review because we cannot verify it.

Report a bug

For something broken in the app — errors, confusing flows, performance — use Report a bug in the sidebar footer (signed-in users). You can attach up to four screenshots or one short video (30 seconds or less).

We automatically collect technical context (browser, page URL, screen size) to help reproduce the issue. Bug reports are only visible to ExoMarket staff.

Feature requests vs reporting

Feature Requests are for ideas you want the community to see and vote on (with a paid plan to submit). Reporting is for safety issues and bugs — always private.
